It’s been quite a week so I was beyond excited get out for a girl’s night out with my good friend Billie Jo. We had the opportunity to attend Tillamook’s Melty Fest at the Handsome Hog and oh my gosh, we had such a great time! The cheese lover in me was in heaven!
Melty Fest is in celebration of TIllamook cheeses now being available in Minneapolis and to say that i’m stoked about this is an understatement! We are big cheese eaters in our house and Tillamook is our go-to! Plus you can find it at Target so you know that’s a win in my book. (Click here to find which location is closest to you.)
They had some fantastic cheese dishes and we paired ours with some lavender cocktails. My favorite part was the delicious mac and cheese and Juicy Lucy burgers prepared by chef Justin Sutherland. If you’re local and want to try his famous Juicy Lucy, be sure to check out the Handsome Hog August 12-18th! if you can’t make it, you can follow his recipe below and make them at home yourself. Trust me, they do not disappoint!
